Groundwork shows California parcels from public county records. Owner names are not shown for California parcels yet; you can still ask us to keep yours hidden. No mailing address is shown for California parcels. If this is your land and you want your name hidden, or something corrected, tell us here. You don't have to give a reason.

  • Hide: we hide your name from every card, parcel page, list, alert and export within five business days, and email you when it's done.
  • Confidential under California law (for example officials' home addresses under Gov. Code 7928.215, Safe at Home participants under 6208.1): we hide it right away and review afterwards. Please also notify your county assessor.
  • Correct: tell us what's wrong. If the error is in the county's record, we'll point you to the county assessor.

The parcel's physical facts (location, acres, zoning, flood zone) stay on the map, because they are public county records. We can't recall copies a subscriber exported before your request. See our privacy policy for more.
